Soft, delicate eyelids were lifted as the Gryffindor Student awoke from her post. She dragged her fingers across the scrawny bed sheets while her feet worked their way off the bed. After a few minutes she found her escape route, but needless to say it wasn’t very professional. With a thud, she hit the wooden floor of the Common Room.

Slowly but surely, she sat up and rubbed her head gently. She stretched her arms and yawned slightly before continuing with her morning basics. Struggling to get up, she grabbed the edge of the bedside table and pulled herself up. She was quite light she had to admit but at the same time quite heavy as well. She looked around the room. Even with a few glances she could tell that she was the only one there. “Must’ve gone to breakfast…” She guessed.

Speaking of breakfast, why was she not there? For the first time ever Marietta was not hungry. “That’s strange…” She muttered to herself.

Marietta headed for the window. Peeping outside she smiled at the sight of a crystal clear sky, green grass and to top it all off a bright sun. Where would she go today? The Black Lake? Nah, too casual. The Roof? Heck No, She’d burn her butt off.

She changed into a pair of blue faded jeans, a pale pink halter top and her usual sneakers. She brushed her hair thoroughly and headed to the Skate Park. She wasn’t a skateboarder. In fact, she couldn’t skate to save her life.

Once at the Skate Park she wandered around studying her surroundings. She paid so much attention to the park that she barely noticed where she was going. In result, she bumped into a familiar face…

Marietta, as bored as she was, played wth her hair frequently whilst looking for something to do. She worked her way through a huge crowd of people to see what all the fuss was about. As soon as she got to the front, a surprising smile appeared on her face as she noticed one of the band members. Josh Chase was his name. She laughed gently and continued to watch the band at its best. She hadn't seen this side of Josh since...well...ever! As soon as they were done, she lingered through the crowd, returned to her spot.

She fiddled with her hair again only to hear a faint whisper in her ear. She turned around and smiled once again. She shrugged at his statement. "Well what else is a girl to do?" She whispered back.

"Oh and since when do you shake your tushy up on stage, Michael Jackson?" She smirked and looked around, too distracted by the skateboarders.
