James pushed open the door of the night club. It had been a while since James had been out clubbing, studying had got sooo high and his commitment to his sports was overwhelming. Though tonight was different tonight james deserved a break. A break from all that crap. Pulling a bar stool well up to the bar he sat and looked over at the bartender. A thin blonde lass stood serving a fellow griffie. james smiled he knew this girl he banged his fist on the counter rudely waiting for the response. Ok i know someone did NOT... just bang their fist at me. Hold up,. james laughed as she swung round and double took. He smiled and waited. "Hold up what....." james laughed as she still stood there debating what to say.James Wood....James james, hell i havent seen you in months boy hows life treating you the usual heck hold on."james nodded and watched as she went to get his drink.
Still chuckling to himself james turned round on his seat and watched as the dance floor grew with people. How the wannabee singers sang on the stage. James spun round as he was tapped on the shoulder and nodded in thaks taking the drink and setting a few knuts down and slidding them across, only to find them sliding back at him. james winked at the bartender and ddrank his firewhisky with a hint of butterbeer.

Midnight. A shy little Gryffindor pushed the door open. "So many people..." This was the first time Emlyne came to a place like this, and to be honest, she didn't really like it. "Aww, what am I doing here?" she thought as she entered the crowded place. It was Saturday evening, and once again, Emlyne had nothing to do. She had just finished her last book and realized that the library was already closed... so she decided to do something else for once... something she had never done before.
But now that she was finally here, Emlyne started to wonder if it really was a good idea. Everyone seemed to have fun, but this wasn't really Emlyne's idea of a good time. Deciding to stay a bit longer, "just give it a try", she slowly made her way to the bar. Another Gryffindor was sitting there, talking to a girl he knew. The seat next to him was empty, so Emlyne just sat down, not even caring if it was taken or not.
-"What can I get you?" someone suddenly asked. Emlyne looked up and wondered if it would be 'cool' for her just to get a pumpkin juice. -"I'll... euh... I'll take a fire whiskey." she said with a shy little voice.
"If I'm gonna give this whole going out thing a try, might as well do it right." Emlyne thought as she impatiently waited on her very first fire whiskey.

James sipped slowly at his drink. it was strong. just how he liked it. Looking around he saw that alot of slytherins were out tonight. he rolled his eyes as one passed him making gaging noises at his badge. So pathetic so immature. He looked at their colors. Green shone. It didnt really surprise him. Taking it on the chin he took a big gulp of his drink. He was yet to see someone he knew. This depressed him a little, although he always had Kim the bar tender to keep him company. her shock of seeing him still showed as he was offered more and more drinks for free. Laughing he shock his head. James wasn't depressed yet he wouldn't say he was happy. james felt more relieved that he was out and about.
James was about to put his drink down when a few strands of hair blocked his vision. He felt a prescence next to hjim and blew the hair out his face. Looking to see who it was he sighed with relief as the person he sawwas a griffie. Smiling to himself he now examminded her more closly. She was pretty. very pretty he hadn't really seen her around....Well he hadn't really seen anyone around lately. james watvhed as she looked up over the bar she seemed lost new to the whole bar sort of thing. James chuckled a little into his drink then spoke up as she ordered. ".....And i'll pay for that Kim."james smiled at Kim as she nodded and walked off he felt her eyes upon him and he turned to look."Are you sure you want a fire whisky..... not a butterbeer or pumpkin juice?......Oh james by the way james wood." The sound of his voice as he introduced himself came out as more of a droan he had done it so many times.

Emlyne really wondered if she did the right thing by coming here. The entire bar was filled with Slytherins… all trying to show off that they really where the toughest badass of this bar. But all Emlyne saw was a couple of pathetic young witches and wizards who only mastered a couple of 1st year spells. “If they would pay more attention in class, instead of always trying to do some mischief, they might actually be able to do more than such a simple spell.” Emlyne thought while watching a slytherin shoot a curse at another drunk student. Learning new spells was one of Emlyne’s favorite things to do. She loved it when she finally mastered one of the more difficult ones, it made her feel… strong. One of the slytherins suddenly noticed that she was looking at him and Emlyne quickly looked away, avoiding the disgusted look the slytherin was giving her. She didn’t come here to find trouble. Even though Emlyne knew a lot of spells, she actually rarely used them. And it really wasn’t like her to ever use one of those spells on someone else.
Emlyne’s hair accidentally flew in the cute guy’s face. “Oh I’m sorry.” Emlyne said while pushing her hair back behind her ear.
".....And i'll pay for that Kim."
She heard him say as she ordered a fire whiskey. She was about to say something when he asked her if she didn’t rather like something else. “Nope, I really want to try a firewhiskey.” Emlyne said. Her cheeks suddenly got redder. She wanted to act cool, but saying that you never drank alcohol in your entire life didn’t really sound ‘cool’. “I’m Emlyne.” She said whilst holding out her hand. “And seriously, you don’t have to pay for my drink, you know.” Emlyne said with a smile.
